In the early 1990's the Kiplinger Newsletter predicted the Hispanic popluation would grow so rapidly that Hispanics would not be considered a minority in the next decade.
Well here we are in the next decade and just this week, the week of the 11th of February, 2008 a news report states:
"The influence of traditional minorities in the United States will continue to grow, new Census Bureau statistics suggest, with Hispanics born as American citizens accounting for more than a third of the population increase last year".
CNN reported on it's site Minorities Getting Closer To The Majority that the United States Census Bureau stated in a report published Wednesday the 13th of February 2008 that the U.S. population grew by 2.8 million people between July 1, 2004, and July 1, 2005. Hispanics accounted for 1.3 million of that increase.
With such an increase of Hispanics in many parts of the country one should ask the question: "How will my Realtor reach those Hispanic buyers that don't speak English well?".
In 1997 I created the nation's first known real estate hotline which offers callers information in both English and Spanish. The hotline was recognized nationally as the first known hotline of it's kind. The system has now been improved. A toll-free hotline number is printed on all full color fliers located in information boxes on real estate signs. Callers call this toll-free number and can hear information in both English and Spanish.
In addition to hearing the information in both languages callers can now also have information on the property they are calling on faxed to them automatically. Callers can also leave messages to have their call returned and even be connected direclty to my cell phone. The system tracks how many callers have called on a specific property.
This free hot-line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The problem with the traditional form of marketing real estate is two fold; 1) Many buyers drive by properties in the late evenings or on weekends. Most Realtors are not available those hours and most information boxes are empty of fliers and 2) Studies have proven buyers will call a toll-free hotline number before calling a regular phone number. I have a proven system to keep flier boxes full of fliers and the hot-line attracts dozens of callers weekly.
With the hispanic population increasing so rapidly in the country why would you list your home with a Realtor that cannot offer you this bi-lingual hotline service? For the same fee you can have this bi-lingual hotline working for you immediately.
Call 1-800-316-6915, press 1 for English or 2 for Spanish and then press zero to be connected to me immediatly. I will explain to you how to get your real estate exposed to the masses.
