The fastest growing states in the nation continue to be in the west Rocky Mountain region and the Southeast. Texas is also attracting residents at a very rapid rate.
Nevada took over the claim of the fastest growing states while Arizona was second, Utah third, and Idaho 4th.
In September of 2007 USA Today wrote No end in sight for Idaho's growth. Idaho continues an impressive growth in spite of a national housing slump coupled with record high gas prices. Computer chips, agriculture, tourism, services and many other factors place Idaho in a very envious position.
